I am looking to replace my Radeon 9100 with something a bit more beefy, but I need to be able to run Dual CRT monitors from it, using a DVI to Analog adapter (or not).

What would you guys suggest is the best card to get right now around 175$ (225$ CND) ?

how about providing a link and an expalnation as to why the 9800pro linked is a bad deal for $175?
something constructive would be nice....

i think he is referring to the fact that the newegg model is the 128-bit version rather than the normal 256-bit which is slower, but i think it would still be a good card. also i cant find this one at buy extreme, anybody got a direct link?

Half the normal memory bandwidth. Enough said.

Even the R9600 pro has more memory bandwidth;.

What I would reccomend is a 9600 XT or a Radeon 9800 non pro.

this would be the best choice.

I can't argue the nVidia vs. ATi implications, especially if you're running Windows only. But if multiple OSes are your thing, take a look at the XFX GeForce FX5700 Dual-DVI card from my thread in the Video forum. This card is probably the most powerful dual-DVI currently available, until the newnVidia crops ships with dual-DVI. I'm sure there are some other winners in that first post as well!
