Best video card setup for 1600x1200 @ 100HZ (CRT) WITH V-sync enabled?

I don't need vsync fully working in Crysis, but every other game if it is possible.

I see there is the 3870 X2, 8800 GT, GTS, upcoming 9800 GX2

I would consider SLI/Crossfire, although I would really prefer single card (or sli/cf in a card)

Can you wait a month for the 9800gx2 ? I personaly wouldn't, it will probably be rather expensive, and run really hot. For your resolution, either 8800gts or HD3870 X2, depending on how much you get to spend. You've got a rather demanding resolution, and new cards are not coming out for at least another 4-5 months. I think I would buy a 8800gt right now because that's where the best bang for buck is right now, and step up later this year to a real high-end card, if you have the money.

Hmm, you might be right.. but I've gotta be sure I can get high fps in most things..
