hmmzz.... i am trying to buy a super heatsink and fan cooler for my video card

anyone can tell me a website thats has it???

Well, I'm using an old Socket-7 heatsink 😉 You lose a PCI slot though. Or two if you get a giant cooler 😉

Superglue at the corners, arctic silver grease in the center..

Thermal epoxy sucks 🙂

ehh ohh yah...
damn..
never thought of editing...
yeah
so what is Artic silver??
is it a heatsink glue???
so i can use that stuff to connect the headsink to the GPU??
and do i need to use other stuff??

That alpha is way too expensive! I was gonna get a few for tight spot fc-pgas but it was 35 bucks else where instead of the 32 which is better... artic silver is a thermal paste, fills the imperfection gaps between cpu & headsink or heatsink 🙂 don't use too much.

artic silver isn't a kind of glue. Its just a highly thermally conductive paste that you put between a chip and a heatsink. It doesn't bond with either so it won't be sticky enough to hold the heatsink to the chip by itself, especially considering the video chip is usually on the other side of video cards. You'll need to fasten the heatsink to the chip by some other way if you decide to use artic silver, or any other thermal grease that isn't an epoxy for that matter. Most video cards already come pre-installed with heatsinks which are plugged into the card via 2 holes, so you might be able to use those 2 holes somehow.

ok thanks...
damn i bought the Acrtic Silver for USD$14 for nothing
ahh!!!!!!!!!!
hahaha
ok may be i will buy a Golden orb for my CPU soon...
😛
