What is the best video card for Win 2000 platform? I plan to run games (Quake,Unreal) as well as work on net.I want a fast card with good driver support.

I never used to have problems with my ASUS 6600 GeForce card, now I am. I can play Q3A fine but not tribes. I havent tried Unreal in a while so I can't comment on that. I just got an Elsa Erazor X for a second machine. That is a pretty decent card for $119 (so far). It came with Windows 2000 drivers on the CD. Performs as well as the ASUS 6600 I paid over 200 for six months or so ago

I'd go with an nVidia card, now that 3dfx is a goner.
Their Win2K drivers are great, and if you go with an Elsa or Visiontek card, you'll get good 2D as well.

Ya with Win2K Nvidia is the only real way to fly until ATi kicks up their driver support and realized Win2K is a real OS and people use it.
