Best Video Card for **Video**

The header says it. Not interested in gaming, only video. I would greatly appreciate any recommendations for quality cards that will accomodate these needs, be it video cards with a separate TV tuner, combination video/TV cards, whatever. My display is a dell 2405fpw running at native res, so the solution needs to have quality scaling characteristics as well.

Thanks,
Meph

Edit: Some cards seem to have 256 mb DDR RAM (which I don't mind for a display this large) and some have DDR3 RAM (usually 128mb). I assume that the DDR3 pays off for gaming, but has no real gains for video. Is this correct?

Thanks again!

AIW X1800XL is a great card for this . . . though it's also good for gaming so I dunno if you would want it . . . ;)

7300GS from gigabyte (Passively cooled) plus Forceware 85 from NV which allows h.264 decode/acceleration up to 1080p plus an improved pure video (MPEG2/de-interlacing/etc).

Or a AIW X1800XL.

Oops...forgot to mention...has to be AGP & DVI. And by "video", I mean watching TV and DVDs and other media.

Thanks for the responses so far!
