Best video card for uner 200

I would get a 9800 pro for as cheap as you can find. They usually run around 180

just ask what game they like better, xiii(msi) or splinter cell(leadtek)

gainward is good, but that card has only 8 pixel pipelines

Any 6800 is a great card, with the possible exception of the LE. For cheaper, a 9800 pro will work nicely, or the 6600GT whenever it is out on AGP (I'm assuming you are not putting it into a PCIe motherboard). I'd stay away from any X800 other than the XT, but I doubt that is in your price range anyways. The 6800GT is way better than the X800 Pro, and the 6800 is better than the X800SE. Cards to stay away from - 9800XT or 5950 Ultra - these cards are slower than the vanilla 6800, but are priced much higher, especially in retail. In fact, I saw a 5950 Ultra for $500 at Compusa, the same price as an X800XT and 6800 Ultra, which are literally twice the speed! In fact, steer clear of any Geforce FX (5xxx) hardware, except for maybe the 5900XT, and only buy that if it is way cheaper than the 9800 pro.

From that list I would go with the Galaxy. I have NV5 silencer on my GT and I like it. The stock reference cooler is just cheap, plus the clockspeed on the core is 350 instead of the normal 325. You get a nice cooler and a slight overclock all under warrantee. Looks like that card is only available for pre-order, so good luck with that.

Based primarily on In Stock (or 1-3 days) availability, I would go with the MSI card (nice game bundle), then the Sparkle card.

Avoid the Gainward card at all costs, as it is an LE card: 8 pixel pipelines vs 12 for all others.

200 pounds = around 400USD
*looks at choice of cards...DAMN those are huge prices...but anyhow, the Galaxy one is nice. It already has NV silencer on it and you'll probably end up buying one anyway.
