Best video card for laptop?

Hi,
I am looking for laptops and I am wondering which (affordable) video card will let me play (with nice graphics) the last generation games. I was about to buy the acer aspire 5500 which have the ati mobility x700 64mb which I beleive is a really good video card, but just to be sure, what do you think?
I heard of the x1400 and x1600 video card, but are they better than the x700?

I have an Acer Aspire 5670 that I have had for about a year, amazing laptop, came stock with core2 duo, 2gig ddr2, 120gig sata drive, X1400 (512 hyper memory).

I used it as a desktop replacement and I played BF2, WOW, CS, CS:S and some other games on it, it works really well!
