Best Video Card for about $100

I am upgrading to a P4 2.4 and am looking for a good video card for about a $100. Does anyone have a recommendation? I am currently looking at the ATI 9k Pro 128MB (powered by ATI and built by) but am curious about the nVidia 128mb cards. I am looking for some experienced input. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I would have to say that the Radeon 8500 128meg is still a contender in the sub $100 video card market. My friend just bought one and it works great. I believe that it is faster than the 9000pro as well.
If you wanted to spend a bit more, I would go with a GF4 Ti4200, and if a bit more than that, go with the Radeon 9500 Pro.

I'd wait it out for a bit until the 9500 non-pros drop in price. At least then you'll get halfway decent DX9 support. What videocard are you running right now? Is it that bad?
