The 6800 GT still shows up as $300 today on PriceWatch.
Has this card not gone down in price at all in the year since you bought yours?
How much of a performance difference is there between the 6600 and the 6800?
How much between 128k and 256k?
Because there is a huge price difference between PCI-e versions of:
6800 GT (256) -- $360
6600 GT (128) -- $160

Let me tell you what. If you don't have the extra $200 burning a hole in your pocket, the 6600gt actually works fine. It will run anything without aa/af at that resolution. It will even do it with 2xaa and 8xaf if you're not one of those people who needs 80fps. I'm not a hardcore gamer so as long as I get 30fps I'm happy and my 6600gt gives me that on my 2405fpw with 2xaa + 8xaf.
EDIT: later this year maybe I'll get a 7600gt or something like that, but I don't game enough to justify a $400 video card.

Granted I haven't played @ 1920x1200, but I would think a 6600GT would struggle, A LOT.

My 6600gt (heavily OCed) can only pull 80-100 FPs in CS:S at 1024x768 4x4x, so I seriouslyu doubt it could handle 1920x1200... Do most games even support that resoluton?

Tons of games support it, but there is an HUGE difference between 1024x768 and 1920x1200
Not sure if this is the correct way to count pixels, but ..
1024x768 =786.000 pixels
1920x1200 = 2.304.000 pixel
Almost triple..
:Q
Good luck on that...

Its very possible to run that resolution, but you would most definately have to drop AA and AF, and forget about HDR. (unless you wait for G70 or go Ultra SLI, which would be stupid with G70 so close)
