Best Vertical Monitor for Reading and Coding?

Hello,
What are the best vertical monitors for reading and coding on the market at the moment? My price range is $100 ~ $200.

Thanks in advance.

S.

Most monitors can be viewed vertically but it helps to have a monitor with a vesa mount stand that can be oriented verticall.

I think the ability to swivel the screen may only be available on High End Models. Here is one I saw for an ultra sharp dell 24":

You may not need an ultra sharp monitor but it would be easy on the eyes. However, you may not need the swivel ability.

Dell also sells this monitor mount for vesa monitors for $69 It sivels and can be adjusted to an angle of your choosing with the asjustable mounting arm. You can probably find similar on amazon.com. Then you can use any monitor you want or can afford as long as it has the VESA mount. This one is rated at up to 22". This is only an option. The more expensive Dell ultra sharp looks like a good deal when you factor in the size of the monitor and the mount with the swivel and the high end monitor.

Might look on the business part of the dell websites for these monitors with the vesa mounts.

Dell is still selling these non-widescreen monitors: ($199)

Not good for watching movies but great for viewing large windows and forms.

You definitely want an IPS panel for vertical orientation. TN general have bad vertical viewing angles, which really sucks when you flip them and suddenly have bad horizontal angles.

I'd search ebay for Dell 2405FPW, 2407WFP and 2407WFP-HC monitors. The later ones are preferable, but all are top notch and within your budget. All have swivel mounts for easy switching between vertical and horizontal.
