What is the best batch of 1600+'s for overclocking? I hear a lot about the AGOIA 0213 "Y" cores and AROIA cores. Which batches notoriously give the best overclocking yields?
I heard the AROIA 1600 is a little bit better than AGOIA, but I'm pretty satisfied with my AGOIA core - either one of these cores should overclock very nicely. But Newegg doesn't advertise these cores on their site anymore. Someone posted a link in another thread for another site that has these cores, but they will cost a bit more than they did at Newegg.
I have 3 AGOIA 0213 "Y" cores and they all do over 1.8ghz, air-cooled (2-SK6s and 1-Taisol). Those are definitely the hot AMD chip right now. They may be pretty hard to find, though. Newegg sold off a ton of them about a month ago.
