Best Verizon phone under $150?

Since my last thread got out of hand... what's the best Verizon phone out there now for less than $150?

I already am in a contract with them and am just getting a different phone due to my last one dying on me tonight...

Yeah, with no promos... I'm already in a contract and this is a replacement phone.

depends what type of phones you like I guess. As of now I wouldn't go to any company besides Sprint because they have the nicest actual cell phones (no i'm not talking about mp3 players or PDA's or big ass walkie talkies). My friend has verizon and still thinks their nicest phone is the T730 or whatever, and that thing is OLD

Buy the service, not the phone. I wouldn't go back to Sprint if they offered a phone with a BJ attachment for $79 after rebate.

I dont like free phones they often make you sign a 2 year contract

I'm not getting a contract or anything... I'm asking strictly about the cell phone. I guess the price I'm looking for is whatever I could get it off of eBay or similar online store.

I just signed up for a new Verizon contract, so I picked up a new phone with bells and whistles. My old phone was a Motorola v60i. Great reception, great batery life, reasonably small. Not much in the way of frills. Looks like v60i phones are "buy it now" for $150 on eBay, which means you could get one for less if you're patient.

A good bells and whistles model, that's having starting bids of $150 (could get lucky as an only bidder) is the LG VX6000. Very good color screen on that model. Best phone for gaming out of reasonable Verizon options, not that many folks consider that a key factor.

You might be able to get a Samsung SCH A530 for under $150 as well (probably a bit more likely than the VX6000). Only had mine for a couple weeks now, but so far it seems like a great phone.
