Best value?

A used 1700+ JIUHB
Around 40-50 used and will get 2200+ MHz.

You may do better speeds with a mobile Barton, but I don't think you can beat the value of a T-bred B.

I was also wondering what heat sink would be adequate for a Mobile Barton 2600+?

Just about anything will work well on a 2500/2600. I've run a 2500 barton with a Vantec Aeroflow at 2.2ghz (i think that's how fast it was... been a while) without any problems. Of course if you wanna be totally sure, and yer board has mounting holes, that big fat copper flowery thing from zalman has served many an enthusiast quite well even when overclocking.

I've got a Vantec Aeroflow on mine ATM. It's doing a great job of cooling @ 3200 speeds (2200mhz).

I'm about to install an SLK 947U I picked up $25 (larger all-copper HS) coupled with a Vantec Tornado (119cfm) I just ordered. I wanna push for 2600mhz and figure I'll need more cooling for a high OC.

The Vantec Areoflow was very very easy to install. Doesn't appear to be so with SLK though.

Your choice should prolly be driven by how high you wanna OC. Maybe budget and noise levels too.

I ran my 2400+ XP-M @ 2.42 on air. Good CPU, and I had a thermlright SLK 947U with a zalman 92mm fan. Temps didn't go above 46C under heavy load.
