Best Value Digital Speakers?

Just got a Santa Cruz and would like some decent speakers for it. Doesn't have to be a 5-speaker system, could be a 3-speaker system and if it sounds good I would be fine with it. Do some light gaming, mostly into music. On another note, it would be a plus if the speaker system was able to accept two inputs, as I may run output from my digital video editing system into it, as well as use it for my main system.

first off - www.3dsoundsurge.com is a great resource.

Second:
1. Going digital doesn't make any difference in the sound quality if you're not passing it on to a high end reciever - with multimedia speakers, they're just going to do a d/a conversion in the speaker rather than on the soundcard. If you have a receiver that handles a digital input, it's a great feature - but if you don't, it's really not a big deal.
2. I don't know about multiple inputs. You'd have to check reviews on soundsurge.
3. You should probably look at the Monsoon MH-505's (great sound quality, very neutral, not overly bassy) or the Logitech Z-560's (good sound quality, great for gaming and/or DVD). The logitech's are a bit unbalanced IMO (too bassy) but they make killer multimedia speakers. The klipsch 5.1 are also great speakers, but too pricey in comparison to the competition for me to personally reccomend them. I don't like the klipsch 4.1's at all - too unbalanced.

Cheers,
