I am looking for a 32"-36" LCD TV to use mostly for playing xbox360. What are the best bang-for-the-buck options right now? I'd like to stay under $600 (at least before tax)

Thanks.

Well, given that you want to stay 32"-36, tryout the $699 46" sceptere at Costco...

When I was looking for a 32" for my bedroom I picked up the Samsung 32" A450 for $499 at BB (price matched it to hhgregg). There were cheaper brands but for this size I think thats the best price/performance. the 1080p options in this size range were much much more.

Here is a decent deal on a sony 40", a little out of your price range through.

Just a heads up the Samsung B series (2009 models) is coming out within the next few weeks. Already the prices for them are comparable to the 2008 models.

I think the 32B450 or 37B450 would be a perfect fit. However the 32A450 or 37A450 would be my suggestions for currently available models in your range.

However if you want the best LCD's in this size range I would look Panasonic.

I ended up going to the Circuit City closing sale and paying $650 for a Samsung 37A550.

Great choice and im shocked that Circuit City actually had a decent deal on something, cuz 650 for that is great.

Glad to hear you got a working TV from CC.

I was completely against buying anything at CC because everything is sold As-is so no returns and they wont even let you open and test it before you buy it. I just tried to PM to BB when I was looking but they had nothing at our local CC.

Well it was a floor model, but it seemed in good shape. And $650 for an $1100 TV was worth the chance.
