Best value 2.5" PATA harddrive under $60?

So I got a used laptop the other day

Latitude D400 (12.1" screen)
Pentium M 1300
512MB
18GB HDD (assuming 4200rpm) PATA

I'm going to add another 512MB or 1GB of ram, and probably throw in a 1.7 or 1.8Ghz Pentium M.

Which leaves about the only thing left to upgrade being the hard drive.

Capacity isn't important, 18GB is plenty space wise. I had some Hitachi Travelstar e7k60s a while back and loved them.

Just wondering if there are comparable 5400s out there now, or if my best bet is a used, or new old stock 7k60 for about $60.

Maybe with density increases there has been some performance gain, but in the sub $60 range what are my best bets?

Thanks, after doing more reading it looks like the top choices are:

Seagate 5400.3
Hitachi 5k160
Or the 7kxxx Hitachis

All seem to run around the same price. I should have ordered from Newegg earlier when I read your post. Instead I fiddled around and now it'll be Monday before they ship 🙁
