Just curious what people use in thier used/new cars to protect the vinyl & plastics inside?
I use Turtle Wax Formula 2001 spray on UV protectant (Fluorescent Green bottle) Any good ?

Anyone know of a site that tests these UV protectant/conditioner type sprays?

I remember hearing that Armor All and the like are not good for your plastic and vinyl interior. SOmething about the chemicals in it act like crack cocaine for your car. You apply it and it looks nice and shiny, then fades. You then add more but it doesn't get quite as shiny and after a while it just looks terrible. On my truck I'm going to just use warm water to wash away any dirt and grime until I find something better.

cool link, thx. After reading a couple of reviews off that site, I think I'm going to get a water based product and not one with silicone or pertroleum distilates in it. That 303 Aerospace stuff looks good, wonder if I can get it at WalMart?

I doubt you'll be able to find the 303 at Wal-Mart. For the most part all of the specialty products are mail order only :(

I think Armor All's new formula has been working great from what I hear now..... 303 is very watery and smells like Armor All too. So they may be close in formula now.

A guy I work with takes regular Armor All and mixes it with Armor All Extreme Tire Shine. (This is one of those nerdy-know-it-all-about-everything-even-if-he-doesn't-know kinda guys, but he does know cars fairly well...) He says do it 75% Armor All to "condition" your interior (vinyl/plastic only) and then like 50/50. Opinions?
