Best used car under $15k?

Need some advice. What would be the best car to buy under $15l. It must be a sedan or small SUV. Low mileage, under 30; is a big consideration


I drive a manual, so that is not only acceptable, it's preferable.
Safety is a concern so crash test do matter and I'd like side airbags.
I'd like to to be reasonably stylish and have actual wheels (versus black with plastic caps)
Car will likely be driven until it's worthless, as such, reliability is important.
No long commutes, but at least 20 miles a day
Fuel economy should be at least 28 MPG
No preference to country of origin.
Have had good experience with Ford and Honda vehicles in the past.
 
It's different for everyone. You're gonna get like 10 different responses for what car is the best for that price range. We need to know what you like and want out of the car. "Saying manual is fine" and "as many airbags as possible" is kinda vague.
 
What kind of cars do you prefer? European? Domestic? Japanese? Other?

How long do you plan to keep the car and how handy are you when it comes to fixing things? What kind of cars have you been looking at lately?

Also, how much will you be driving it? Long commutes?

Those are all just a few things you need to think about as well as resale value, characteristics you look for in a car, etc.
