I don't mean movie scores, as there are MANY quality ones. Whats the best use of a song you would hear on a radio in a movie?

I say "Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and the News.
Its impossible to hear it and NOT think of Back to the Future.

Honorable Mention goes to Stealer's Wheel's "Stuck in the Middle with You" and Reservoir Dogs.

Eye of a Tiger by Survivor. They couldn't have picked a better song than that for Rocky

Every time I hear a Cyndi Lauper song I think of The Goonies, even if it isn't the song that was in the movie.

I think "Back in Time" by the same artist represents the movie more. Although, Power of Love was featured (essentially) in the beginning and made it stand out a bit more than Back in Time (the ending theme I believe?). Back in Time, the title alone, reminds you of BTTF. Speaking of BTTF... I want that on HD .

You mean Feuer Frei? (The song does go "FEUER FREI... BANG BANG! BANG BANG!"... which is probably why you're calling it the wrong name).

Collateral and Oakenfold's Ready Steady Go when Cruise lights up the club (what an awesome scene I might add). Although, they don't play the korean remix here.

Oh yeah, that's it.. I forgot the name, I haven't listened to Rammstein for so long.. It's still a kick-ass song though.

Wildthing - Major League

Bohemian Rhapsody - Wayne's World

eh... Danger Zone became a popular song as part of a movie soundtrack. I think it was written for the movie. Right? Never was a big Loggins fan until then.

Everything in its Right Place by Radiohead in the beginning of Vanilla Sky. Yes the movie was kinda shitty, but that scene with the totally abandoned Times Square and that song playing was really cool.

In Pacific Heights Matthew Modine is watching MTV and they play Soundgarden - Hands All Over. At the peak of the song, Michael Keaton sneaks up behind him and beats the crap out of him with a golf club. I went and bought the Soundgarden CD after that movie.
