You guys have an recommendations on a good USB stick to install OS onto? something with good nand and good 4k performance?

The sandisk extreme seems to be consistently ranked well in thumb drive reviews but its 4k performance is not the best so i wonder how it would do as a OS drive.

Just looking for something i can throw a linux installation onto with malware removal tools and troubleshooting/benchmarking software to use on PC's that have the main OS down for whatever reason.

64GB should be enough.

I have been using a Sandisk Extreme 64GB flash drive since it's original release and it's been a solid daily driver for me. I also run Virtual Machines off of it, as well as a PortableApps workload. I'm certain that it's successor, the Sandisk Extreme Pro 3.1 would be very capable as well, but it's minimal size is 128GB.
