Best upgrade option for me?

Hi guys, looking to obtain a noticeable increase in my performance... which route should I take?

new mobo?
2 more gigs or ram?
or a boost in cpu.... price would be a factor

I had that same cpu, and noticed no real gain in upgrading to 4 gigs of memory. I have also tried the e4500 with 3 different motherboard chipsets; again, not much performance gain. If you must upgrade, wait for a memory rebate special. I got my pny pc6400 2x2gb kit for $28 after rebate at frys. Memory prices have gone back up; not any real bargains right now.

Gaming? GPU

The biggest upgrade you can get that makes you go 'Wow this is so much faster' will be an SSD drive. For gaming it depends on what games you play at what resolution that determines how much an upgrade a new GPU will be to you. We need more information.

Sure thing, I try to play all games at 1920x1200 Usually wiht 4-8x aa and what ever other options i can bump up...
so gamers like NFS:MS, Bioshock, UTIII and others
