Best upcoming 7" tablet? (microSD a must)

I'm looking for something to replace my aging iPad 1, looking forward to an Android tablet this time, with the following specs:

- 7" screensize
- Same or better solution than Nexus 7
- microSD card slot
- Good battery life (at least competitive with iPad 1)
- Standard microUSB charging (no proprietary charger)

Can anyone recommend me something that's in the pipeline (3-6 months)? Or at least solid rumors of such a tablet?

CES starts next week, so maybe we'll hear of something then.

Right now, it doesn't seem like much is happening with 7 inch tablets. Google, Amazon, and B&N are making $200 tablets that are pretty nice, and basically subsidized to get you into their content platforms. It's hard for Samsung and others to compete at those dirt cheap prices and still make a profit worth it.

ASUS is rumored to be working on a really cheap $150 or less 7 inch tablet. Though there are also rumors of a cheaper Nexus coming, so they could be the same thing, which won't have micro SD in that case.

I guess the Nook HD. It has micro SD, a higher resolution screen (not sure how the colors are). But don't know if it has micro USB. And you'll need to root it and add Google Play to make it a real tablet (assuming it should be rootable).

It would be nice if Samsung had come out with a newer 7" tablet. Galaxy Tab 2 7" had all the extras you'd want, but it's CPU and screen resolution are now outdated compared to the Nexus 7.
