best TV tuner?

So, I'm thinking of buying a TV tuner for my PC (planning to hook it to a TV, just in case you wondered) and wanted to know what you guys thought was the best one.....

I've heard that some new tuners can get cable signals, and that kinda interests me, except I'm moving to a dorm next summer, and I'm not sure what kind of cable they use, so I'm not sure if it would work.....

Also, although it's not much of an issue, does having a low-profile one help things any? When I get my new video card, all the PCI slots will be full, so I was curious if this would help things any with airflow, etc.......

Thanks for any help!

The standards are changing in TV broadcasting so you need to make sure that your card can get all the digital signals. Getting HD over the air is a good example. Being able to take a cable card would be a future-proof plus. I don't know exact models to get. tho Good luck!

Since you used the word "best" then I'd suggest going to avsforum site where you can get mucho more info which may help decide of what you really want.
I myself use Kworld ATSC110 (OTA & No QAM) but it's cheap.
