All I can think of is the ATI TV-Wonder...It needs to be Win XP compatible. Would also like mpeg 2 capturing. Or should i ditch my geforce 3 and try to get a Radeon 8500DV?

Don't know about that ati card, but I have a ATI aiw 7500 and like it a lot. I don't do much gamming,so it fits nicely. They also have the aiw 8500, but i am not to sure what that one is about.

BTW, there are also cards like the www.hauppage.com I had one of the tv-go cards, but the video capture and windows xp didn't seem to work, also the drivers were flakey in xp.

The ATI All-in-Wonder 7500 and 8500DV are quite good. Both support MPEG2 capture.

The TV Wonder is barely supported anymore, it seems. Still no official XP drivers. Using the Windows 2000 drivers in XP generally works, but there have been known problems for some people.

The 8500DV (top of the line) is a graphics card + TV tuner + firewire combo.

The 7500 (one step down) is a graphics card + TV tuner combo.

I'm kind of surprised you didn't immediately choose Hauppauge. I have the WintvGO-FM and it is great.

Even so, I will admitt that although their drivers are fine, their software sucks. That is why I started usuing dscaler from http://www.dscaler.org

Unfortunatly, their software doesn't record, so I am using PowerVCR II 3.0 by Cyberlink(they make PowerDVD).
It retails for $120 but if you search on the net, you can find oem copies for about $30
