best tv-tuner <$50

I have an older AverTV model, it does pretty well. It comes with a rather strange app to watch TV, but it's a standard video input device, so you can use any video app to record, and any TV app to watch TV. I think most are that way, but I'm not sure. Only had experience with mine, and a customers'.

EDIT:
Also found this one, seems to be a pretty good buy, quite a bit under budget also:

Try this search: http://www.videohelp.com/captu...arch&Search=Search

Look for the ones with higher review scores and then read the comments left by the people who bought the cards. Of the listings that have over 10 reviews it looks to me like the Asus TV Tuner card, Hauppage WinTV Go and Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP Expert got the highest reviews.

I personally have the Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP Expert. The only negative comment I have is, it could be better in filtering out video interference. I have a few channels with interference on them and this can be seen in the captures. For me the workaround was to run the signal into my Sony VCR and then run S-Video to the capture card. My Sony VCR filters out the interference nicely.
