What's that thing the rest of the body is sitting on?

404, that's what.

I like the Duramax.
The Dodge tranny is junk.
If you get an auto tranny, add an auxiliary tranny cooler and filter.

updated: went for what i considered a "good" enough engine...Dodge Magnum V8...all in the package of a dakota 🙂

UPDATE: Memorial day sales just tempted me too much. Ended up going with a dodge Dakota /w V8 Magnum engine. Retail: 25K I got it for 17.5. It has power, isn't quiet as heavy as the 1500, but I'm happy wiht it

🙂

If you ever need more power, Paxton makes a great supercharger for that engine, which would give you more torque for towing 😀

yeah i just wish desiels didn't cost so much 🙁 and i still would have to get around town in it to go back and forth to work...i like the size of the chevy 2500, any bigger and its jsut to tuff to park anywhere most of the time.

The only reason i didn't try GM was they were at the end of all the dealerships and didnt feel like walking that far lol

yes, but many diesels will last for 1M miles+
