Title says it all. System Monitor has always seemed a little flaky to me. Looking for something better.

i have a really neat program called winram, i can't find the full version but you can download a trial version of it, only 14 days though......i'll send you the link, it includes a monitor that follows cpu, ram, and swapfile size...also the whole thing is it allows to perform a ram dump in windows...it's a nice option when compared to restarting....

here's the link

Only the top version has the monitor but like i said, it's a trial, there's also a freeware program that you can use to dump your ram but it's very annoying.

Why not just use Win2K's built-in Performance Counters?

Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Performance

And of course there is always the ubiquitious taskmgr.exe.

Thanks guys, sorry I took so long to respond, business is very hectic these past few days.

Memturbo rocks. It's by far the best RAM tool around.

send me a private message if you want memurbo 2.0 (full). I know where to get it.

Does Windows System Monitor always work reliably? I have an Athlon at apparently 40% when idling. I was wondering if the aliens were taking over my CPU.
