Best time to take 101 S to Cal Poly

one of these weekends i want to take a trip down to cal poly..and was wondering when the best time of day to do it would be? i was thinking of leaving on a thursday or friday..and then heading back on sunday. what would be the optimal time to leave to avoid traffic?

You mean San Luis Obispo or Pomona?
IF Pomona, take the 5.
Otherwise, driving in the middle of the nights the best time. Try not to go during holidays either... You'll get stuck in traffic for a long time.

I would guess she means SLO. Why the hell would anyone want to goto Pomona I have no clue.
