Best time to purchase DDR3?

With haswell-e coming out and DDR4, when will the best price be on DDR3? Or has that time come and went?
Came and went. Overclockable 1333MHz from Samsung and Crucial, up to about 2012. As DDR4 becomes mainstream, the best case will be DDR3 not going up too much more in price (OTOH, that should take a couple years).

Ok so I missed the boat on DD3 and back in the day with the spinners before the flood. Man am I out of touch.

I've built so many P4/Athlon XP/Athlon 64's. I am really feeling old now.

Seeing how Haswell-E will range from $1000-$1500, don't look for more than .375% of the market to be using DDR4 in 2014.

Timing is everything, last month Microcenter had 16gbs (2x8) Crucial DDR3 1600 for $109. Even with shipping and tax, it was still about $40 cheaper than buying it tax free and free shipping off Amazon. I bought 2.
