Best time to end auctions? $6

I just wanna know when the best time is. I've run tons of auctions and I usually end them Friday or Sunday evening, but I recently got killed when I sold my Opteron for something like $60 under what I could've sold it for, and maybe I'm doing things wrong?

I heared Sunday evening but I usually dont do to well there. Friday and Saturday are no-nos as well. I like tuesday to thursday evenings myself for most consumer goods.

Sunday evening is usually the best, but depending on how many similar auctions are running, it might be better to aim for a week night. Or earlier/later on Sun, avoid ending near the other auctions.
