Best time to buy TurboTax

My taxes are a bit more complicated this year so I think I will pick up Turbotax or something of the like.

When is the best time to pick these products up time wise. Right now they are all selling for like $44.00 dollars around here.

check Hot Deals forum OFTEN ... many times they are FAR.

yes, i know but when do these deals usually come up? Black Friday, Before X-max, After x-max, two weeks before April 15th????

Most sales will be no more than $10 off the MSPR.

OM, OD, CC, BB, etc will also at times bundle some other goodies with the offer.

TaxCut and TaxAct will be cheaper than TT.

TT is slightly more user friendly; many people switched wawy from TT after the spyware mess a few years ago

The best prices for TurboTax are usually at Costco or Sam's Club. Once in a while Office Depot has a sale or discount coupons.

I have used both TT and TaxCut - and liked TaxCut better until my own got complicated (multiple states, royalties, rental income, etc.) Now I just deliver all the stuff to a pro and let him worry about it. His fee is just another deduction.

Costco is $36.99. Usually stores seem to have promotions with huge bundles, which can be several products included. When, not sure but I think towards the end of the year or January.

I have also found that TT goes on sale in mid-end January to beginning of February.
