Best time for X-Mas toy shopping???

This will be my sons second x-mas and hes about that age when I can start going crazy with toy shopping. So, whats the best time to do it? Are there sales during a certain time frame each year, because I would hate to go out the 1st week of Nov. and buy something that will be much cheaper a few weeks after somewhere else. Any hints for those of you with kids?

Right after October 31st you can get tons of costume stuff and holloween stuff on sale. Also, right after easter there's tons of candy sales.

Some of the best deals are the day after Thanksgiving sales...but those typically are insane with tons of ppl...

You can also try a week or 2 before Christmas since retailers like to drop extra discounts on you just to get you in the store.

Seriously hes two, crazy for toys? He'll love the bows ans ribbons more. Anyways, most stores have a price match policy that extends to there store and other for a certain time, usually between 7 days-1 month. Best bet, but before day after Thanksgiving and look at who will give you the money back if toy shows up on sale that day after.

I would wait until right after thanksgiving because thats when most stores have their big pre-Christmas sales on toys. It will be a mad house, but the sales (to me) are worth the craziness!

have you checked online yet? like amazon? you might want to try that as well.
