Hey, I am new to the Athlons/Thunderbirds, and I don't know much about their coolers. What is the best? Any comparison reviews out there?

If you're going to spring for one of those, make sure you use Arctic Silver I/II to make the best of those coolers. Directions can be found at Arctic Silver's page.

Just make sure you don't touch the compound itself, and use as little as possible. Scrape with clean credit card or razor to flatten the stuff out.
 
shiznut, the testing methodology they used was inaccurate. I'd look forward to their new review with better testing. BTW, they admitted that they were off when choosing the testing methods for the first heatsink round-up.
 
WHAT!! He doesn't even give a label to the Taisol cooler (presumably the CGK742). It doesn't deserve to be nameless. :|
