Best tech and science magazine

I want to subscribe to a technology and science magazine. Im not very interested in the newest benchmarks nor am i very interested in biology and chemistry. So im looking for something that fits the rest. I have heared that american scientist should be good, but I have also heared that it is rather government orientated (something that i dont particularly need, especially since i dont live in the US, nor am i american)

Scientific American. Don't worry, it doesn't matter if you are American or not, as it's not government oriented.
Discover is another good one. I think they go more towards biology, though (only by a little).

I personally like Science the best, but they are broad and include bio and chemistry. They're partly a journal, so a lot of the info might get heavy if you aren't in that particular field. They have some of the latest research, and a lot of thought provoking articles. Really good stuff, even if you only read half of it.

There are other mixed tech/entertainment/computer/gadget magazines (like Wired, for instance, which is just all around geek, Pop Mechanics, etc) but they vary in quality and focus.

I enjoy reading Discover, Wired, and Popular Science. Discover is more hard science, Wired is more technology oriented, and Popular Science is general tech and science.

New Scientist and SciAm are my favourites.

PopSci (Popular Science) has some cool tidbits. Wired's feature essays and articles are pretty good, though. If you have to pick one, get Wired, and read DailyTech.com or something to keep up-to-date on snippets.

scientific american/mind
popular science is fun sometimes but its pretty dumbed down.
wired is better at that kinda popular culture/sciencetech thing.
