to me, bread is bread. they all taste the same if eaten plain.

There is a company in SE Michigan called Great Harvest Bread Co. that makes the best tasting bread i have ever eaten. They have they special kind called Cheddar Bread. It is sourdough bread with perfectly sized pieces of sharp cheddar baked into it. It tastes amazing.
I also love regular fresh hot, crusty french bread. I could eat it just plain.

Beer bread, now I have to track down a recipe. Zucchini bread is great too, but that's more of a cake.

A nice good sourdough. We have some great local bakeries in the SF Bay Area that make some amazing sourdough.

Sourdough bread fresh from mom's oven. She always has to make a double batch because between me, my dad, & sister the first loaf is eaten within 30 minutes. There were some nights dinner was nothing but bread & water and we liked it
