Best Sub-$500 TV

I need a TV for a guest room / extra living room. It will be used for general TV watching and perhaps Xbox gaming when I find the time (which is not often).

I'm thinking something in the 32"-40" range is the way to go.

I'd like to keep price in check and $500 is my max, but I'd be happy to give up a little and keep it close to $350.

I don't need it to be smart or have netflix built in. I will probably connect an Apple TV to it for netflix and screen sharing.

I was looking at a few Samsung LED's, but wasn't sure if that was the best way to go.

While i dont know if its the best the Samsung H63x0 are pretty good and should be on sale here quite a bit.

If you have access to CostCo, they have a Sony 40" LED for $479.99 on sale through 8/23/2014.

If you're not in a rush, I'd wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday which is around 3 months away.
