Hello,
I just rma-ed the sapphire 9500 black card that sapphire tech said is incompatible with my nforce chipset on my asus mb. I am seeking suggestions as to the best video card under 200 for this motherboard (asus a7n8x). Is the red 9500 pro card a good candidate or should I stick to the nvidia chipset cards? I am interested in stablity and good game performance not overclocking and tweaking.
Thanks in advance.

what was the problem with the black R9500 (asking because I have the same one and I'm currently having some stabiity issues in UT2003)?

sorry, but I can't really help you decide what card to get. Are you looking strictly in the midrange segment, or would you be willing to spend a little more?

Geforce Ti4600 or if you want to spend a bit more get the 9700np a bit more but might be worth the extra $10.

um...that's news to me. Sapphire ATI Radeon 9500 does not work with the Nforce2 chipset? I think that guy was pulling your leg.

I have the Asus a7n8x delx and was considering getting the 9500 pro. Has anyone else heard of this issue?

My Sapp 9500 Pro works great. You can also consider MSI Ti4800SE. Able to attain 4600 speeds and come with a killer package of like 10 programs not to mention VIVO.
