Best sub 150 dollar photo printer?

I currently have a Epson stylus photo 700 its a nice photo printer and all but it is starting to show its age. Are there any noticeably better photo printers out there that are 150 or less?

I'll agree with this, with one caveat: The drivers - not the printer itself - are a little flaky, on my system at least. They seem to "disappear" about once a month or so. I go to print something one day, and the printer starts cranking like it's warming up...and that's all she wrote. No picture or document. So I re-install the drivers, and a minute or two later it's ready to go until it decides to throw a fit again.

I second the HP, for compatibility, print quality, and drivers.

I never do over 5x7 anyway and haven't been able to tell the difference between printers in the last year and half unless they are side by side. even then I have to look really close to notice diferences.

yep, i have the s820... awesome printer for photo. text, it could be better at. I think the i850 solves that problem... but haven't seen it in action.

Another vote for the i850. The i950 is a bit better if your willing to pay the extra price. Also, you can find BCI refil carts for $1.50 each online if you look a bit.

what about the HP photosmart 7150? looks pretty nice and is only $99 at BB so you might be able to find it for even cheaper. Cnet did not give it the greatest reviews but the user reviews at Cnet and amazon loved it. never seen a direct comparison between the two, though. I am looking at getting this as a photo-only printer as I have a laser for black and a cheap lexmark for graphics.
