Good Afternoon,

I am buying a budget graphics card and just wondering which way I should go?

Hoping to use scan.co.uk preferably but if anyone else knows anywhere better then I will go there.

I'd like HDMI but probabaly dreaming..

so far suggestions from friends have been the ATI 3850?

Any other suggestions?
 
I have the 3850 atm, its an ok card (dispite what people say) for resolution at 1280 x720 ( what i run at). What resolution are u running at?
HDMI can be achieved by dvi---> hdmi ( which is also what i use, i would reccomend however if u use it to dvi/ vga as with my 1080i tv the quality isnt 100%
But if i were u id put in like £20 and get http://www.ebuyer.com/product/145605 as it will get better results in all games 🙂
 
would a 4850 be absolutely out of ur reach! u can get one for £115. oh well! its never ending this. £20 more u get a better one, another £20 and uve already hit high end! lolz! the downside of competition, too much choice!
