Best stripe size for raid 0?

I want to run 2 drives in Raid 0, can someone tell me the recommended or preferred stripe size?

4k, 8k, 16k, 32k, or 64k.

2-40GB Maxtor drives (ata100, 7200rpm)
3com NIC
SB Live Value

I did a search through the forums and sadly I was only able to find one thread where someone said 16k should be good 🙁
