I agree in general. Lewis Black belongs on that list.

George Carlin should probably be on that list for his history, even if he is kinda dried out now.

You can tell the age of the posters on here.

Bill Cosby was one of if not THE funniest stand up during his stand up days, stuff is still funny.
Eddie Murphy in the 80's was the best Chris Rock is just a younger version of him.
Robin Williams was awesome as well.

Some one that no one has mentioned
Johnny Carson, he was the BEST for TV hosts.

Richard Prior's routine about being on fire is funny as hell as well.
