Best stable drivers for Geforce 280 GTX?

Howdy all,

I'm having trouble finding a driver that's stable for my Geforce 280 GTX 2-way SLI set-up. The default driver that windows 7 64-bit loads only sees one of my graphics cards. If I download the latest driver from NVIDIA, it's difficult to get it to install (even if I do a clean install of the graphics drivers), and then my system BSODs on reboot due to graphic drivers hanging.

Does anyone know what the most current stable NVIDIA drivers are for this card? I had similar issues with my 7950 GT SLI setup... newer drivers causing significant rendering errors and/or BSOD... I really wish NVIDIA would stop that / make sure their newer drivers didn't break their older cards. :(

I'm experiencing the exact same problem. can anyone out there recommend the latest stable drivers with download location?

I have dual evga gtx 280s with sli as well.

I wonder if they test the drivers for older models at all. Why offer new drivers then for this model. ahh the frustration!!

nVidia is concentrating on the GTX 7xx and 7xxTi and Titan. We've got all the performance we're going to get. Just use the newest WHQL driver. They work flawlessly on my 2 GTX 460 1GB SLI.
