Best SSD for price and speed?

Hey gents, I'm looking to buy a new laptop (tired of my 2011 MBA and the HD3000). I'm looking at the Lenovo X230 because I've always loved the Lenovo/IBM keyboards (looking at different models too, but not sure which yet). In any case the SSDs included with pretty much any model are way too expensive, but I don't need much space. 120GB should be enough for emergency storage and the applications I run.

Of course, there's no guide for the best SSDs. I'm trying to find something that strikes a solid balance between price and speed, again considering that it should be ~120GB. Any suggestions?

As long as you avoid crappy or slow drives like the Kingston V200 or OCZ Octane/Petrol, you probably won't notice any real-world performance difference between any of the modern SATA 6G drives unless you bust out with some benchmark action. Thus, feel free to choose the cheapest sale price among any of the decent drives.

Reliability?

Get a Crucial M4 or Samsung 830.
Yep. Right now they seem to be the best bang for your buck option. I really like Plextor but they always seem to price themselves just a little bit over what the market is willing to pay.
That and their marketing strategy really blows. Seriously do they even have a marketing department at Plextor or do they spend all their money on r&d?😕

Intel 330 series has some good deals going lately, but I think that crucial m4 is probably the best combo of speed/performance.

I'll also toss Intel another vote, but wait for when they go on sale. I just put a 180GB 520 series in my MBP and it absolutely screams. I also have a 120GB Intel drive in my desktop with zero issues.
