Anything Sanyo

</thread>

Edit: No, I'm serious. Don't get another manufacturer or you'll hate your service.

I agree. I had a crappy LG phone and calls were always dropped. I've since changed to the Sanyo 8100 and have been happy since.

Had that phone and switched to Sanyo. Sanyo was a much better phone.

Edit: Whoops, no, it was the A500. Still, just don't do it. No matter what somebody tells you, Sanyo phones are ALL good and ALL have better coverage than any other phone. I can make and receive calls in areas I could not before. I'm telling you, if you get another manufacturer, don't start posting about how bad Sprint service is because I warned you.

How's the reception on the i500? I'm looking to get a new cell for my sprint service as well.

My 8100 Sanyo has been terrific. I've had it 2 years now and it's still going strong. The battery has lost life, but that's to be expected. The 8300 just came out, so get that or get a great deal on a 8200.

I've had it for about 3 months now, and never a dropped call, fuzzy voice, or anything. I had T-mobile before and I didn't even get reception at my house. I'm very happy so far with Sprint and my i500.

Also, kinda a bit off the topic for this thread, but what's the best way to get a deal on a new phone while keeping our old plan. I'm not under contract anymore, but my $30/m custom (retention dept) plan rocks.

I was planning on Ebay, but do you guys think I could get the retention dept to give me some sort of rebate even if I keep the same plan. I'm willing to sign a contract as long as I keep my same plan.
