planning on getting a 2.6c now that i have the money. ive only been looking at amd mobos so far so i dont know whats good for intel.

Abit IS-7. If you want to overclock, don't look anywhere else. Otherwise, ASUS boards are good, but more expensive

IS7 is the way to go, IMO.
