I know this should be in the cooling section, but there doesnt seem tobe anyone over there so here it is:

Would it be better to put a fan right over my cpu or on top of my case between the ps and faceplate? I have heard that it is NOT a good idea to have fans on side plates, is this true?? I have a (80 cfm, so they say...) bay fan right now so I would think that another fan added on the side pannel would be the best bet. Thanks

Yes, the side panel would be the best. Just make sure that it blows/sucks air in the same direction as the CPU fan.

Another option is to have a fan on the back plate (also near the CPU) blowing air out of the case.
