Best special ops force?

Which of these choices would you consider to be the best elite special forces unit?

(I know they may have different specialties....but just pick one dammit.)

The Spetznatz have (at least in the light of the latest terrorists operations in Russia) a sad reputation. I vote for the SAS (one reason being that they have little oportunity to fail)

Calin

Deltas and the SEALS .. hard to pick just one. Those guys are seriously hardcore. But since I have to pick just one, I'm going with the Deltas.

no such thing...each force specializes in different missions

SEALS are the best littoral region warfighters w/ stealth, reconnaisance, and explosives capabilities

Delta are excellent at counterinsurgency and counterterrorism operations

you might want to add Marine Force Recon to the above poll...i know they hoorahs will start yelling once they see it's not there

Add JTF 2 to the poll..

They're so good that even George W. Bush requested them for the invasion of iraq.

Mossad hands down. I think it would be considered special operations. The mossad is the single biggest reason that Israel still exists. They are feared by everyone even the terrorists are afraid of them. You piss off Israel enough, your dead, plain and simple.

They're pretty hardcore, but the main reason they have the reputation they do is because they are allowed to operate with a "longer leash" if-you-will.

edited for typo

I thought about including the Mossad....but it seems to fit in a different category. Debatable I guess.

Should have included Sayaret Duvdevan... they're more hardcore than Golani... Golani are pretty much regular ops...

Actually, the most respected unit is Shayetet 13, along with Sayeret Matkal. soldiers of both units can be combined in a single operation when needed - thus creating the best special ops out there, IMHO. There is no need to mention that these are considered more hardcore than any other unit in the entire IDF.
