As the title say, what would be a good choice for a set of speakers to match up with my Santa Cruz, BYW I don't want to spens over $125. My friens has a set of CambridgeSoundwork FSP2000 4.1 Digital speakers he will sell to me for $80. Are these good speakers ? Can the Santa Cruz use digital speakers ?

The FPS2000 is an excellent set of speakers for the price (had one myself), but I believe it will only do digital output via Creative's digital din with the SBLive series of cards. You can try it with the versa jack, but no guarantee that it will work. The flipside to this is that analogy should sound just as good.

As for myself, I'm very likely to pick up a SC today to replace my aging X-Gamer. The primary reason for me opting for the SC instead of the newer Audigy that's about to hit the shelves is because of my existing speakers. I have the ACS56 which does have digital output via RCA jack and the SC is suppose to accomodate this very nicely albeit front speakers only with analogy for the rear.

I have a set of the Altec Lansing ATP3W (black) speakers on my Santa Cruz. They sound pretty darn good if you ask me. in addition, the speakers only run ~50.00. ;)

Altecs are nice. If you are really interested in nice sound though spend the extra dough and get the Klipsch 4.1 or 5.1.
