Best Sound

Hi,
Im about to spend 700 pounds on a super separate HIFI sys for my bedroom.
Lisenting to MW and FM radio as well as CD's .

Using super headphone set for best audio quality. Quality Treble and Bass required.

Specifically what spec must I look for before buying and what value should those spec be to ensure best quality sound for my budget?

So it will be a Denon Tuner 510, a Denon CD DCD-520, and Cambridge AMP 340ASE ....again what spec should I look at here and is this current spec enough for best quality sound.

All good advice welcome,

Berne

Sorry dont know what you mean?

I am assuming you are in UK? We are mostly in North America so what we consider a bargain may not be in UK, that is why I am asking what do you have over there for an online electronics retailer.

Hi...
I real new to the market with no experience in this tech area...but local advice has it that this store is good along with Amazon Ireland/UK/USA of course.

Again for about 700.00 uk sterling: DENON TUNER 510 , Denon CD DCD-250 and a Cambridge AZUR 340ASE, Whafedale 10.1 speaker set.

Dont know Watts to db relationship for best audio for a small 12x8 bedroom but this setup has been advised.

Wharfedale is now a Chinese brand. Did you consider finding an old Nakamichi or Marantz tuner?

also, consider an antenna.

You didn't mention which headphones you are using.

Are you referring to TU-1510AE when you said tuner 510?

I've got wharfedales that were built in china(evo2-10) and I haven't seen anything that can compare to them for the price.

Look at the Mordaunt-Short bookshelf speakers as an alternative to the Wharfdales. Owned by the same parent as Cambridge, they are amazing and reasonably inexpensive in the UK. I have the Aviano 6 floor standers and I love them.
