Best Sound Card For WinXP w/ Via Chipset

I have an Athlon 900 w/ Abit Kt7A motherboard. Right now I'm using my old MX300 card with Win98, but want to upgrade to XP.

I'm looking for a fairly-cheap soundcard (like a Live 5.1) but have heard about problems with the Via KT133a chipset. For $20-50 (purchased used from this board preferably) what would you recommend ?

Thx,

Dj Cherny

I`ve never had any problems with either my SB Live or Audigy sound cards with my VIA boards, however an OEM Santa Cruz will probably be your best bet.

i'm going to reccommend the hercules game theater xp. it's the same chipset as the santa cruz, so you could go with that. or an audigy i guess. i haven't heard many problems from it.
